Mr Palsola holds the position of the President in Finnish Maintenance Society, Promaint and is a board member since 2000. He is also a member of EFNMS General Assembly and Chairman of EFNMS Certification Committee.

Mr Palsola holds an M.Sc. from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Oulu, Finland. In early years holded the positions of Research Engineer in Veitsiluoto Oy, Pulp&Paper producer and Project Engineer and Project Manager in AFORA Oy. Until 2020 worked with Kemira Oy, Kemira Chemicals Oy, Kemira Oyj

In various positions such as Senior Engineer Expert, Pulp & Paper segment, Process Engineer Director, Global Technology & Engineering, Process Engineer Manager, Pulp & Paper segment, Maintenance Manager and Coordinator, Finland and finally Automation Manager, Automation Project Manager in several projects in many countries.
