Angelos Manaras is an Electrical Engineer and holds an MBA degree. He has over 25 years of experience in significant managerial positions in major companies in the Greek industry. As an Engineering Manager in the multinational group of Tupperware he undertook the implementation of major investment projects, as well as the interconnection of different systems already installed in production and maintenance areas targeting not only Energy consumption reduction but the real time information on Quality and Technical issues. He introduced in 3 different company groups either full time Lean implementation or customized solutions based on each company needs. For the last 3 years, he has held the position of Plant Manager at Megaplast, managing the new production plant in Thiva. Throughout his career, he has specialized in optimizing the production and maintenance process, aiming maximum efficiencies with optimal the use of available resources.
